How It All Began
Picture this: a Malibu beach house, bubbly flowing, and our crew gathered to celebrate Britney’s 35th birthday in true Rich Auntie fashion. Between the playlists, Prosecco, and poolside laughter, Sharris surprised us with a custom trivia game she’d started creating just for the occasion.
She wanted to break the ice and knew that nothing brings people together quite like a little healthy competition. The theme? Black women, Black culture, and a whole lot of bougie. We didn’t even get through all the questions that weekend, but the few cards we played had us deep in conversation well after sunset.
That spark? It lit a fire.
Bold. Bougie.

From those first few categories: “Which Rich Auntie…,” “Bougie 101,” and “Music & Movies,” we knew we had something special. We weren't just testing trivia knowledge, we were affirming brilliance, celebrating legacy, laughing at our shared references and reveling in the richness of our culture. So we got to work. Over the last two years, we’ve been researching, refining, and building a game that’s fun, factual, and just for us. And now, we’re thrilled to share Rich Auntie Trivia™ with the world; because Black women deserve a game that’s as iconic as we are.

I’m an auntie to 12, plus a great niece and nephew, so I know the auntie life well! I’m the globetrotting, childfree auntie who protects her peace, spoils the kids, and drops wisdom (and a little cash) when needed.

HERstory is definitely my favorite. Learning about the incredible Black women who shaped history has been one of the most rewarding parts of creating this game.
